Good location to stay near terminal feri by walking distance. Room just nice. Cleanliness 9/10. All amenities completed. Good to stay here

Great night sleep

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and had a lovely experience, so I was looking forward to returning — unfortunately, this time was a completely different story. There are still positives worth mentioning. The bar and restaurant areas are well designed — visually appealing, modern, and genuinely nice places to relax. The atmosphere is great and the cost of drinks is about what you’d expect. Breakfast had its highs and lows: the Full English was very good, but the Eggs Benedict and boiled egg soldiers were surprisingly poor and felt like an afterthought. That said, the staff were lovely, kind, helpful, and friendly throughout my stay. The hotel’s location is fantastic, and I appreciated the option of a complimentary island tour and a shuttle service to a swimming pool - thoughtful touches that do add value to the stay. However, the room was a major letdown and frankly, unacceptable for the price. I paid over £600 for an executive room for the weekend and was shocked by what I walked into. The room was dark, dated, and stuffy — completely lacking the comfort or sense of quality you’d expect at that level. It felt tired and neglected, and did not reflect the standard the rest of the hotel seems to be aiming for. While the mattress was comfortable, that was the only real positive. I could have requested to change rooms, but at this price, I shouldn’t have had to. This wasn’t a minor issue — it seriously impacted the overall experience and left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. It’s a real shame, because the hotel does a lot of things right. But until the rooms are properly refurbished, I simply can’t recommend staying here — especially not at executive-level prices. Sadly, I won’t be returning until some serious improvements are made.

The hotel is lovely and staff friendly. The room was light airy and spotless Bed very comfortable. My only complaint was at breakfast as staff did not give you any time to eat your cereal etc before asking what main you wanted for your breakfast and I had to politely ask staff for more time. My partner and myself felt very rushed every morning for 3 days. Apart from this I would recommend this hotel but very expensive for what it is.

Excellent stay! Food and waiting service in restaurant exceptional. Twin bedded room rather small in size but beds very comfortable.

If you are visiting Guernsey, which I highly recommend, then I would suggest staying at this hotel, it is brilliantly placed in St Peter Port, being on almost the flattest street in town, near bus stop and the esplanade. Everything at the hotel was excellent from the welcome, the rooms, the meals, and the staff. If you are a breakfast person then you will be in heaven here as the choice is amazing, and all freshly cooked
